Please welcome Elmswell’s first Digital Volunteer

I’ve published a short YouTube video on my experience of becoming Elmswell’s first Digital Volunteer.
Access to essential services and maintaining connections to family & friends continues to be driven through technology and for many people that’s not easy. I’m really pleased to be taking part in this charity programme in my local community, organised by Communities Together East Anglia https://www.communitiestogether-ea.org. Every third Wednesday of the month, myself and hopefully other volunteers (when we find some) provide a drop in support service at The Wesley Cafe in Elmswell. It’s available to anyone who has questions or problems with their devices, the internet, computers and anything else tech. No judgement, no appointment, just turn up for friendly help and it’s totally free.
Not everyone can wait a month for the chance of help with their IT problems, and not every problematic device can be brought to the Wesley. If you’re a small business or a private individual in Elmswell or nearby that needs tech help, I’m very happy to offer support as a paid service to anyone who needs it, just get in touch via my contact page.
